After searching for freedom in the wrong place, through combat competition success, eventually in 2008 an energetic shift took place in which he was freed from what he terms the ‘artificial-self’. In the absence of a ‘sense of self’ it was impersonally recognized that not only does a solid separate self or center not exist, but that it never did, and that life has always been naturally free, complete and inseparable.
